DEFENDER'S RAP
- I wake up in the morning for a good night’s sleep
- I water the dog and take the plants out for a walk
- See myself in school and jolt awake at the bus stop
- In the bathroom mirror watchin myself like a hawk
- I come home from wherever I may have ended up
- And stare at a fuzzy square that makes me wanna rest
- I brush my teeth with my eyes closed and can’t taste it
- As I tell the bathroom mirror it’s got to look its best
- I rest my eyes for just a quick little second
- Just quick before I get up and I leave for the night
- Minutes turn to hours and seconds turn to firsts
- I’ll be shufflin home drunk till I turn on the light
- I wake up at midnight to get the morning started
- I put on a slice of bread and butter a clean shirt
- Clean out my desk and get to know with the office
- I should put a band-aid on my scar before I get hurt
