CHALLENGER'S RAP

• Many times I faced adversities, the coldness of the world bit my toes till’ I was left defeated
• With time I learned that sometimes you gotta take hail mary’s in life, like Drew Brees, even if your stamina is depleted
• Life is not a breeze, but sometimes you gotta flow with the wind so things don’t blow south
• And get the world to understand you mean business through word-of-mouth
• Even as I write this now, I wonder to myself if I’m fulfilling a purpose
• Like farmers, I desire to put quality of work over excess surplus
• I just turned 20 and responsibilities keep piling, am I ever going to make it in life ahead?
• There’s no doubt my knees will get scraped and my tears’ll be red from straight bloodshed
• But I remember verse 1:9 of my name that says to be strong and courageous
• Handle every situation calmly, I shouldn’t lash on others and be “out”rageous
• If I won’t be failed or forsaken, I think it’s time I break the skillet out and get myself bakin’ (bacon)
• Doubters will realize with time I’m making a climb and like milk, they’ll be shakin’
• Cause they never had to go through what I did, my experiences have all been faced head-on while theirs have been faced on tails
• They clearly would never make it as pirates, cause nobody ever attempted to knock the wind out of their sails
• I’m done flipping MYSELF on tails, I need to acknowledge the misery I’ve faced in the past and “currently”
• So that way I can motivate myself to stop finishing last and move to the top of the rainforest, I have to emerge and see
• That nothing should be holding me back, I’m not in a fistfight, there’s no principals to be found
• So why not set the facts straight and beat defeat right into the ground?
• I got so much built up energy I could drill a sergeant with the friction in my voice
• I’m nearly 5’9 with no blind side, so I’m rollin’ on like a Royce
