DEFENDER'S RAP

• Nowadays politicians only in it for money, prices rise and fall like bungees and taxes stick like honey.
• It’s never sunny on days when rich overpower poor and don’t bother to share even when the whole country’s goin’ slummy.
• They think they’re superior, but really they’re just bidin’ (Biden) their time in office.
• They think they “trump” all others, so we might as well write books about em’ and call em’ prophets.
• Except we can’t, cause they can’t keep a promise. The amount of lies that come out their mouth’s equal that of a hippopotamus.
• The way debt’s risin’ as society’s sinkin’ makes this hole we’re in seem even more bottomless.
• It’s catastrophic and I’m scared to see whether the country will thrive, or be wiped from the plains of existence.
• In the end, it’s all gonna lie on the smarts of WE THE PEOPLE to end political resistance.
