• Eyes open, but you struggle to move,
• You ever wake up feeling like you stuck in a loop?,
• It's the repetitive pattern, that's becoming abused,
• Like a dark cloud follows you, obstructing your view,

• Or it's all a simulation, you're just playing along,
• Because yesterday was no different from today or tomorrow,
• You try to tell yourself you're perfectly fine,
• Everyday with the same thoughts and fears all circle your mind,
• It's like clockwork; perfectly timed,
• You just can't get ahead, no matter how hard you work and you grind,

• You get your sanity back, then you lose it again,
• Go to bed wake up, then go do it again,
•  
• It's like the main character of a TV show,
• Like I'm stuck inside an episode, I've seen befo,
• Everyday I rerun; here we go,
• Did things change?, I'm eager to know, I only hope.
