DEFENDER'S RAP
- I had been offered to keep an eye on the neighboring farmer's homestead;
- 15 miles north of Odess', a normal stretch of remoteness here in rural America
- They'd asked me to come watch over their 1 cat, cattle herd and a pair of pups
- For them to go on a much needed vacation knowing that I was trustworthy
- Waking up at 3 PM to check on the animals before my nightshift in such a hurry ~
