CHALLENGER'S RAP

• Started out at age eight, I was writing basic rhymes,
• Wanted clout, that stage, the words I painted were tainted, it wasn't my time,
• My time to shine; my lines and rhymes, faded while I waited, for them to become divine,

• But the fact is, that kid, didn't have what it took,
• Stranded alone, with a dictionary, and a note book,
• Life was getting scary, life had me shook, my future seemed clearer,
• for this dream I was hooked,
•  
• I'll never forget I was sitting at my cottage,
• I was slouched on the couch, with my pen and paper, writing straight garbage,
• To be honest, I wasn't trying my hardest, an artist, who's writing wasn't the sharpest.

• I got my first studio, it was down in my basement,
• The kid who seemed so blatant, was gonna put down the pavement, and record his statement,
• Pages scattered on the desk, "my statement", I embraced it,
• I was gonna make it, the hate I was gonna take it, and become salient,
•  
• Uploaded my first song on the cloud,
• Went unnoticed, worse song, had me feeling down,
• I was indeed lost, I didn't end up getting found,
• Into a site called RapPad, brought water to this drought.
