DEFENDER'S RAP

• You "haven’t battled for a bit"..? that's a long gap..
• It's like you take aim.. and before your "glock" claps..
• I coulda dodged that; popped to the shops, snacked; listened to a few new hot tracks;
• paid off a mortgage on a posh flat; had kids, got some dogs, cats;
• bought a gun and got strapped, learned to shoot uzis and pop gats..
• And then wandered to the spot and pre-emptively shot back.
• Yeah, that's a goddamn long gap.

• He traded his atlas for a dictionary, and for what it's worth..
• I can relate to that state coz I got lost for words.

• He shoulda come from the gut with a hotter verse.
