DEFENDER'S RAP

• Discovering joy in life... It's a scary ass road, they say "Enjoy the ride!" and it's a Ferris wheel that flared up in smoke – That's unfair
• Yes I know, I know the unbearable toll, I'm from the School of Hard Knocks and I've felt its terrible blows... It's degrading I know
• But, those are some of the very moments that I cherish the most.
• Even in the constant tug of war between despair and of hope,
• Pain is inevitable but the more intense the misfortune the more room there is necessary for growth.
• Since birth, on a search for Your soul – To the pursuit of nirvana, in virtuous morals I pursue Dalai Lama

• We're just Earthly mortals and too many of us humans are toxic, I've learned to let go of things that personally meddle and...Hakuna Matata
• Gotta stay true to yourself because being you is second to none, so do what you wanna
• Keeping my distance is the best thing I've done, but I keep my defiling enemies snug, in case I need that incentive to prove 'em all wrong 'n,
• Tell 'em what's up. Because those people + self-love cannot coexist,
• So I weeded out the venomous one's that may have hissed 'cos to blossom and prosper,
• Those are the snakes that'll fetter ya buds. Stronger is what you'll head to become – So just persist, man, NEVER give up.
• But learn how to forget about grudges because regardless if they're heartless,
• We all have our story of hardships, so, trust few, but show everyone love.
• Prejudice or assumptions are common blunders,
• But time and time again you'll meet people that are prime examples of why you shouldn't judge anyone by their cover.
• The world is chaotic and there's so much lies, but there's beauty in the wake of it all,
• So keep an open mind, but take information to a grain of salt
• Don't tarnish your character for the wrong motives, that'll likely make you look birdbrained, and fall
• I've learned to think ahead and pace myself through obstacles, but there's no shame in not being flawless
• I'm just tryna' be a role model, to my lil' peers – Sometimes first-hand experience is better than word of mouth, revealed here
• 'Cos no doubt, unless you're the opposite of docile, you'll most definitely learn from your mistakes after they've instilled fear
• And you've spilt tears. That's humility, yeah, life will kick your ass into being humble real quick,
• Just remember to give your elders and your loved ones their roses while they're still here.
