- I wrote this verse right after i relapsed,
- Came back and gave sobriety a rematch
- Prayed for forgiveness for so long that i fucked up my kneecaps.
- But the goverment supplied the drugs,
- Its not like i took em with a ski mask.
- Even though I should have because of my income
- Victims turn to villains in this system
- They get us addicted ,
- Then imprison us for our symptoms.
- I hope that you listen,
- And question those laws that need to be rewritten
- Watch the plot thicken,
- They place kids in hells kitchen
- And all there given is a "dont do drugs ribbon"
DEFENDER'S RAP
- No such conflict as the war on drugs
- It’s propaganda propped up by corporate thugs/
- Doctors sell the most heroine adore the buzz
- Come back when you’re out get more from us/
- Lady liberty strung out with a sword that cuts
- An old lady staving off pain they be sure to bust/
- Racism institutionalized horror fucked
- Keep you poor enough to resort to luck/
- Doing dumb shit for forty bucks
