- when I was just a kid my life was all good
- but I grew up in a different type of hood
- and I was never understood
- when I was just four my mom walked out the door
- in 2011 she passed and so did my grandma it happened so fast
- I thought that they would live forever
- and we would all ways be together but that was all a lie
- my mom never walked out and she was takin away
- and to this day in the new year
- and forever
- I will always wish they are here
