DEFENDER'S RAP

• One brief moment I'm swept away left to space/
• I contemplate space and time and how do we relate/
• Elevated in my state of mind I confide in the devine/
• Show me a sign if ur truly a Shepard then guide/
• On my knees i pray never be afraid/
• To show faith in the face of blasphemy/
• As I stand in the wake of tragedy/
• Thru so many calendar days/
• I begin to think that we cant be saved/
• Reminiscent as a child this revelation was hard to take/
• I was always super sensitive and felt strangers pain/
• Shits scaring me and I dont scare that easily/
• I done seen everything except for the devil believe me/
• But I see his work thru society it's not hard to see/
• Open your eyes open your mind/
• Open you heart see what's inside/
• Blessed I ascend to a precipice/
• Yes I believe in inoscence/
• Yes I believe in victimless/
• I also believe that none of this really matters in the end/
• Sumpin wicked this way cometh/
• I can feel it in my stomach/
• I will tell ya sumpin else
• You have 2 eyes and 2 ears/
• So talk half as much as you pay attention ya dig/
• Listen to the teachings and read up on multiple subjects/
• Develope a learned vocabulary before you speak up/
• With knowledge of what you speak of/
• Because minds are weak until fed and strengthened/
