CHALLENGER'S RAP
- You get on with life as a student,
- You're like no other
- You like drawing and taking care for your brother.
- You like to be with one another
- But when you start to daydream,
- Your mind turns straight to this extreme
- Chorus:
- Sometimes I think of you for a while
- I notice the way i start to smile,
- Am taking this serious this aint no trial.
- But you think it's a mistrial
- wondering is this making your life worthwhile.
- But i will always go the extra mile.
- You like to use words like 'tho' and 'omg.'
- And i see this wont be free, i agree
- But i want us to be WE
- Treat you like a VIP
- So just say oui
- Chorus:
- Sometimes I think of you for a while
- I notice the way i start to smile,
- Am taking this serious this aint no trial.
- But you think it's a mistrial
- wondering is this making your life worthwhile.
- But i will always go the extra mile.
- Am sorry little bunny but i want this girl as my honey
- this may be a little scummy but i aint no dummy
- because i would even run from me
- so go back to the study sunny
- this gonna be muddy maybe even bloody
- come at me you unlucky , am way to nutty
- Chorus:
- Sometimes I think of you for a while
- I notice the way i start to smile,
- Am taking this serious this aint no trial.
- But you think it's a mistrial
- wondering is this making your life worthwhile.
- But i will always go the extra mile.
- So we must take this shot In the dark
- I am not gone, I am here to leave a mark
- I know this aint easy for you
- Just know what am saying is true
- This dream i pursue, i can not undo like a tattoo
- No excuse
- i use the juice to introduce
- This guy has to step aside, im the duce
- Bringing that booze
- I would never give you a bruise..
- when im with you i will always press snooze
- I hope this gives some clues to choose...
DEFENDER'S RAP
- He approaches the box with the two words
- The other stands on the opposite side
- Listening to the song of the birds
- And watching the tide
- Until his focus is broken by the sound of the same, but new words
- “Hello! How are you?”
- I swear I’ve heard those words before
- What could they be?
- He’s been through this before and he’s been through worse
- Always plagued by this sickness
- Always having to repeat and...stutter words
- The other’s gaze strikes through his jugular
- He takes the bone from his pocket
- And throws it over the box with the two words
- “I’m fine, thank you.”
- What are those words?
- The other digs their fingers into his skin
- Places one foot on the box with the two words
- All the right, but wrong maneuvers
- He feels his soul being blown away and into the wind
- “So what have you been up to lately?”
- WHAT ARE THOSE WORDS?
- The fingers claw deeper and deeper into his skin
- The other casts a shadow over the dawn of day
- The other places one lily and one daffodil
- On the box with the two words and walks away
- Without even realizing that yet again, he wins
- And unconsciously laughs in the face of his mirror image
- “Not much, same as usual.”
- WHAT. ARE. THOSE. WORDS?
- His heart pounds
- His eyes open
- He returns to the room ruled by the others
- Looks down at the paper
- Sees “Name:” next to the box with the two words
- And remembers the words over which he stuttered
- “Ah yes...THOSE WORDS!”
- He sits in his seat
- And stares into the eye of the blazing sun
- A million seconds have gone by in the length of one
- Rinse and repeat
