CHALLENGER'S RAP
- My life began as a life long prison,
- Ever since I was seven,
- I've been driven to precision,
- I've been given a strong vision,
- I never got to play with the other children,
- But I never listen,
- Got blue black from the beaten I've been given,
- When I turned eight,
- I knew alot was at stake,
- So much abuse and the pain I just couldn't take,
- My chest got an earthquake so large my heart began break,
- Loving you was my greatest mistake,
- When I turned nine,
- I knew my life was never mine,
- You fucking brain washed my mind,
- Had me in fear every time,
- I try to love you as a son but got declined,
- You said I've crossed the line,
- Hit me for the last time,
- I'm surprised you never made a headline,
- When I turned ten,
- You locked me away never to see the sun again,
- All I had was a book and a pen,
- My lyrics began 8 but the skills began at ten,
- Never said prays to god cause I hate the word amen,
- Thats the words she say to me before she locked me in this room with the devil's demonic friends,
- Wanted me to make amends,
- But the truth tends to bend,
- When the devil is your only friend,
- When I turned eleven,
- She let me out of the room while holding a loaded weapon,
- I thought to myself this is it I'm on my way to heaven,
- Got thrown into the trunk of her car and I could hear her voice along with someone,
- Saying what you gonna to him again,
- I could only imagine,
- Whats gonna happen,
- Started panickin when the car stopped and no one was talkin,
- Trunked poped up and the rain was fallin,
- Didn't make sense screamin,
- Got another black and blue beating,
- When I turned twelve,
- I was put through hell,
- Back stabbed up as well,
- Best friends walking with that snake smell,
- Fake to close friends yall fake still,
- Imagine being my age over dousing on depression pills,
- Because depression kills,
- Tried to kill myself,
- Tied a rope to the shelf,
- Brother walked in took me down that stupid infidel,
- I'm done fuck this *(blam) eyes closed shot mouth can't yell.
DEFENDER'S RAP
- Six swans swim up the river
- Moving forward in a straight line
- Hollow beings in their shells much bigger
- Than the small ones they have left behind
- The small little swan stays behind with eyes wide and feathers ruffled
- Playing with the water lilies, the others used to join him, can’t they remember?
- Chasing those little bugs moving with a skip and a shuffle
- Perfectly content with the big black mark proudly showing over his feathers
- Perfection
- Six swans swim up the river
- Lightning reflects upon the water’s clear surface
- The small little swan begins to shiver
- But drowns his discomfort in playing
- With his reflection in the river for no particular purpose
- That big black mark is hidden among white feathers
- His life has changed through size and shape
- Those little bugs call to him but they can no longer play together
- Can’t he remember? Why can’t he remember?
- Those feathers just keep growing but he feels no need to fly away
- Per...perfection
- Six swans swim up the river
- The small little swan thinks of distance and his mind hurts
- He knows there’s nothing to fear and yet he lingers
- Determined to keep a wide berth
- Why should he long for time to play?
- When the others are so close and he can almost find the way
- His feathers continue to grow and grow
- Soon enough he’ll be able to fly away
- Per...perfe...perfection
- Six swans swim up the river
- That small little swan can see their silhouettes in the moonlight
- His eyes narrow, his feathers clean, but cold with the touch of winter
- Staring ahead in the direction of a new life
- He feels the current against his feathers
- He feels the rocks against his feet
- How they burn like embers
- He feels his wings flying into the heat
- Per...perfe...perfect...perfection
- Seven swans swim up the river
- Through the heat and through the cold
- None weakened by desire to be a drifter
- Picturesque, majestic...happy and beautiful
- As the water is getting warmer
- They keep themselves focused with no time to explore the limits of their mind
- Looking ahead and moving forward
- Off into the vast unknown with the small little swan not far behind
- PERFECTION
