DEFENDER'S RAP

• The worst part about our new generation is that nobody knows how to be unique,
• Yet we're the first ones to take whatever we can get our hands on, and start to critique,
• We're even lazier than we seem, promoting the shit that's weak,
• Cause we don't wanna take the time to find what should be grinding,
• we just grind what's already mainstream,
• Nobody has their own opinions anymore, we just think what the media makes us believe
• We don't wanna be the odd ones out, fit in, fit in, okay, but see,
• When someone starts an argument against what we believe, how come we can never find any reasonings,
• to be supporting the fucking thing we're supporting? That's the thing that fucking intrigues me,
• Trap music is nothing, completely focused on drugs, money, cars and sex,
• So why is trap music the center of attention, and representing, the best of the best
• when there's no morals or meaning behind any of the lines--or any of the breaths?
• We're fucking idiotic, I'd give you my two cents but none of us have our two cents left,
• How come everybody suddenly knows Iggy? Cause she's one of the artists the radio selects?
• But before she released Fancy, nobody fucking knew her, she had no success,
• The New Generation of rappers suck,
• and I hate myself for committing myself to this nasty ass trench,
• Especially when I'm the only one tryna fight to keep hip-hop AWAY from it's death,
