DEFENDER'S RAP

• It dawns on me that I ain’t gonna wake up at the crack of dawn
• Stress of the week in the past and gone like mastodons
• I’m the master, don of hittin snooze buttons
• And now I got a whole day to sit and do nothin
• Yawnin while I’m grinnin cause I got some time to kick it
• Do a little half walk half crawl into the kitchen
• Hand reaches for the canned peaches I ain’t cookin jack shit
• If I’m goin downstairs you know I took the mattress
• Scratch this I can’t carry that I’m stretched on the sofa
• Ain’t brushed teeth yet so the breath got an odor
• With resemblance sorta to the chemical sulfur
• “You goin in the kitchen? Can you get me a soda?”
• Leftovers for breakfast scrollin through Netflix
• Walk in front of the screen I’m at ya throat with a vengeance
• You should know what’s expected first morning of the weekend
• Friday night the puppet started dozin off at 3:10
• It throws me off the deep end on dopamine I depend
• Cup of joe to drink then I go to sleep the end
• Though now I’m all shaky eyes have to stay open
• But I get to wake up to a Saturday morning
• Oh how I jumped for joy when Saturday came
