DEFENDER'S RAP

• *sigh* My guy here is really challenging me twice because his last challenge didn't suffice enough for him
• So I guess I'm writing another battle verse? Once I can get, But attempting twice against me is a sin
• I tried so hard on my last verse only to be disappointed on how many bars I had put to waste
• Cause when I saw what he put forth against me, I knew right from the beginning that it was already a closed case
• But that was back then and this is now, What will become of this battle? Will the tables turn around?
• Or will I continue to drive you crazy like that pesky little mosquito flying around your ears, you can't get rid of it's sound
• I lurk about every corner and every secret passageway, people see me and they can't help but scream
• My true side was never revealed, for I was always in the dark, never did I see the rising sun of daylight cause the curtains were sealed tight at each seam
• You wanted to see what I could do again and have a fair rematch if anything went wrong and I completely understand that
• So let's do it, my fists are raised and I'm prepared to "fight" again in fair yet lethal combat
• Looking back to April, I realize how greatly I've honed my skills in the past five months
• I used to be the quiet one sitting in the back of rap class and over time moved my way straight up to the front
• Often I would feel like nothing when I saw others on here who lived in large cities cause I'm from a smaller town
• I had felt like I sunk in too deep, the pressures of making a good first impression stacked higher than I could even count
• The thing is, it doesn't matter how big or small your living space might be, or how much support you receive
• It's about having the ambition to continue no matter what and supporting OTHERS as one whole community
• I'm feeling confident about this verse and I think I'm ready to submit it
• Maybe I'll start to actually record my songs soon so that you guys can listen
