DEFENDER'S RAP

• Woke up one morning sirens loud and tv was on
• Heard a storm coming move to shelter if you wanna live on
• Dazed and confused I asked my friend's mom what was wrong
• She said there's no time now ill tell you later in a song
• We got in the car with my friend his mom and sister
• Home gonna be gone and i'm sure gonna miss her
• We drove about a mile down and I screamed wait
• Told them we got forgot our dogs ill get them and wont be late
• Jumped out the car as they sat and hoped i'd come back
• Put my headphones on so i wouldn't end up losing track
• Walked back to my high school to get back home
• Everything looked different school wasn't right
• Kids running away to the nose coming from the light
• Walked through a forest which was different for me
• Made it to my street and asked a lady who looked thirty
• If she knew anything she asked if I stole a jersey
• I told her mama I just got here I didn't take crap
• Said I looked like the kid on tv and called me a brat
• So I got home to see my windows were broken
• Went inside grabbed our dogs as they woken
• We started to leave when the sky got darker
• Saw a kid kneeing by a man who looked to be his father
• Asked what was wrong is there anything I can do
• He said they got him you should run before they get you
• So I carried our dogs and ran back towards the car
• They sky got darker every second hearing screams from a far
• We drove down the road seeing weird looking Indians
• One jumped on the roof trying to get it
• His mom mom sped up then hit the breaks
• The Indian flew back and fell into the quakes
• We made it to the shelter it was a strange place
• We looked around to see if we could see a familiar face
• Saw nothing so we got in line as they checked us in
• Gave us the clear and told us we had to wear this tracking pin
• Put it on and we got to our room storm raged on we sat in gloom
• Room was a maroon color said it's getting worse is this our doom
• Lights flash shots fired bodies drop as we hear people scream
• Heard our door open one shot was fired and that's when i woke from a dream
