DEFENDER'S RAP

• From past to present, i remember my laugh when you said you were pregnant,
• was Scared incase i couldnt make the jump from street legend to parent,
• unprepared to have one, didnt wanna be the father to die on his son,
• you never stepped on this earth tho,
• Hopes and dreams just blew out the window,
• God had bigger plans for you,
• he must have knew the path me and your mother was going down through,
• The fighting, The cheating, The Crying that led to us hardly eating,
• You my dear child needed guidance, not parents that were hardly speaking,
• you were the rose growin within, so now this is written in stone,
• She lived a life of fiction, and she cant find her way home,
• never could understand how you changed,
• Is this what god planned cause your mind went deranged,
• Loyalty meant nothing, i was loving something that lost meaning,
• Beleiving in a change or something that i couldnt even see dreaming,
• so i look in the mirror to who i was,
• It got clearer so love is drug and thats what it does,
• i was alot of things but always kept it Real,
• Nothing to conceal,
• If things were bad i woulda gave my life to change how you feel,
• Cheated me 25 times but i aint mad,
