DEFENDER'S RAP

• Every once in a while, I take a chance on my ryhmes
• trying to past all the time, trying to clear out my mind
• of this crap ton of lies that my brain seems to try
• to sell and it drives me to insanity by
• telling me I might not
• surely find, a girl who I like, and who's pure and alright
• she will cure all my plights, of self doubt and my nights
• where I shout and I cry it's like, I'm about to just die
• Incomplete like a gouged eye or a mouth with no smile
• I just frown and survive, wishing I could just drive
• far out and clear wide of this town and by-
• -pass all this lewd trash that continues to bash
• at my foolish past and my how uncool I was last
• time I tried to woo a lass
• Alas! I am a hopeless romantic!
• probably spent my life alone and frantic
• because no one could ever put up with my bold antics
• but I'll try to keep my cold rap tactics
• and maybe I'll get my soul out of this bad abyss
