CHALLENGER'S RAP

• See, when you have this feeling.. its like, no other feeling. The feeling of
• lost, doubt, exhaustion.. Depression. It's the voices in your head, they..
• they won't go away.. Well, just listen.

• Yo, it's like you got all these voices up inside your head, they be saying
• they want you alive, but then hoping you're dead, so you be up at night,
• with a mental fight, inside your bed, so you be cutting with the knife,
• waiting for your arm to be dripping red, yeah.. and that's real,
• that's how depression feels.. I know its getting hard to heal, hard to feel,
• now you're skipping 1, 2, 3, all your meals, now it's getting hard to cope,
• kinda getting hard to deal.

• You don't want to go outside, you feel like no one likes you,
• you feel you got to hide, you feel like everyone always wants
• to fight you, you be hoping everyday that you will see the light soon,
• you be cutting every single day too, just trying to get your day through,
• no one has to put on your shoes, no one see's life from your point of view,
• now you're questioning life, like what the hell are you're supposed to do,
• you looking in the mirror and wondering who, you want to be a kid again,
• you wish you never had grew.

• Yeah, but that's just how it feels like, you gets some up and downs,
• that's what we call life, you contemplating suicide, maybe once or even
• twice, cuz you been standing in the dark when all you really needed was
• some light, yeah.. I know how it goes, you can get some highs
• but mostly lows, they say they feel, but they don't even know, you
• be hating yourself but you put on a show, they say you aren't sad,
• but do they feel what you feel though, your heart is hurting and you're
• feeling alone, your life feels frozen and you're feeling so cold,
• you can't fight this battle on your own, they say they can relate but
• they really don't, they say they will they will be there, but they really won't,
• you're trying to fight but its hard to cope, you start to lose faith, now
• you're starting to lose hope, damn..

• The voices in your head, are your only friends, they say you aren't
• worth it, but come back around and make amends, they be wishing
• you were dead, now you want to make it all end, this ain't a game,
• you ain't playing pretend, you wishing that your life can just be reset,
• cuz if this was a test, then you ain't getting it right, you be in the dark
• but you really need some light, you can't do it on your own, you really
• need a guide, you try and tell people how you feel but they let is slide,
• Damn.

• But you can't fix, what you can't help, they all be living life, while you
• go through your own hell, you need some guidance in your life
• cuz you ain't doing too well, you had a couple of ups, but then you
• just fell, you try and shout out, but no one listens when you yell,
• everyone just judges you, not listening to the story you have to tell,
• yeah, they don't think about what you're going through, your life is a
• mess and you don't know what to do, everyone is planning their future,
• but you ain't even got a view, so you wondering what it would be like,
• living in some one else's shoes, they judge you on the outside,
• when they don't even know the truth, you don't wanna get close to
• people cuz there is nothing else to lose, people hate you, and only
• "Care" when they see you dead up on the news, yeah, hanging from
• that noose, if it was life or death, you wouldn't hesitate to choose,
• you're just a blank canvas in a colourful room, yeah you just a
• flower that is awaiting to bloom.

• Yeah you got ten toes, but you are barely standing, its like you
• are on a island alone and stranded, yeah you have been abandoned,
• yeah you're a bandit, to yourself, you ain't feeling happy, so you
• put happy on the shelf, you ain't even a human anymore, you are
• just a bunch of cells, living through this hell, slowly damaging your
• health, depression is your life, there ain't nothing else, Now there
• is nothing but a silent room and a shot gun shell.
