CHALLENGER'S RAP

• This right here's the darkest chapter
• But it helped me see the light
• It was March 28th, I was sleeping that night
• when I awoke to a tall man weilding a knife
• and before I knew it I was being stabbed, in a fight for my life
• He jabbed my side first, no time to writhe in pain
• put my arm out hit the artery with surgical aim
• but I kept fight cause the adrenaline had coursed through my veins
• he sliced my arm again
• and made a gash 20 stiches wide
• I went to kick him off me and he sliced to the bone in my thigh
• the pain arised, my world awry, but no I didn't cry
• cause had I wasted precious seconds then I'd surely have died
• I just kept askin him and askin him "Why, Why, Why?
• All he said was "stop strugglin it's your time to go"
• then when he thrust the knife I dodged a shot right to the throat
• blacking out, the blood from me coulda floated a boat
• thought that was all she wrote

• Still didn't know who my assailant was cause the room was black as tar
• he took the $500 I had for my girlfriend's new car
• and all he left was scars, to my anger that did feed
• my inner warrior came out and I refuse to concede
• He started to slit my throat, I thought I was dead indeed
• until a sudden formulated plot was the word I decreed
• I said "stop stabbing me, I got a half ounce of weed"
• he pulled the kinfe back and quickly agreed
• Then he said That Id be dead if I advised his misdeed
