• this how the conscious scene be these days
• everyone here caught up in haze
• a maze they've been trapped in since young age
• the suburb kids want to be ghetto in their ways
• the ghetoo kids fall in a trap of becoming addicts and making plays in an industry that may or may not pay
• anyday they could get sprayed
• cause they saw Tupac's ghetoo ass catch shade
• and they pray for change yet they look at idols who knew nothing but to gangbang
• blame it on the cycle and how thinks stay the same
• when their mental is caught up int he same game
• road to fame filled with low life names
• no shame in their hearts it's about the glory and fitting the frame
• cause glory these days ain't what you overcame
• came and stopped moving blaming society for the difficulties to maintain
• that's what they became
• complaint after complaint, breaking laws yet blaming others for the restraint
• our elders tainted the image that we had
• we're all born saints till we look up at our dads
• that's the path we see
• depression and tension is a reflection of who they be
• left behind in times yet we're blind to the image of we
• and they wonder why we escape to technology
• constantly falling into the mind of the wannabe
• no thrills around so they take drugs for ecstasy
• so it's plain to see that no one wants to leave a clean legacy
• shrouded in hypocrisy talking bout fate and Destiny
• feels like everyone these days turns and becomes your enemy
• so i'm just asking
