  • When i'm cascading into a fading sleep by counting sheep that leap,
  • over and over and by the tenth, it got stuck in the fence by coincidence
  • i feel im sinking in too deep, til i'm out of reach and standing on a beach
  • with the sand in-between the gaps of my feet, into the pillow my head lays,
  • staring at the ceiling, feeling wide awake but fast asleep, picturing
  • a lingering head with slithering hair of fifty snakes that glare, peeped,
  • all takes is one thought and im off and away, in a stream of dreams to slay,
  • this beast that preys on my allaying body that wastes for days in the same,
  • place, decaying a weight and little by little i break, until it's just the middle-
  • left on a plate, dished to the witches that offer me a single wish, jaw-break-
  • er with a hollow base, cat on my lap sits and purs, long fur, claws that burn-
  • when scratched, a scar is left that hurts, got my rage looked up in a cage,
  • and every night a face of shade scratches along the wires that interlace,
  • it's got me shook, i'm scared to look so i keep my head tucked in a safe,
  • where its safe, on the outside I appear displaced, in outa-space, eraser-
  • and pencil writing essays, setting this paper ablaze, fuelling the fireplace,
  • with hate, anger that conveys a lighthouse displaying light rays, to help-
  • show the way to the path to the bay, the dock, with the rest of the flock,
  • down the dorm I contemplate, wearing uniform that's torn and blood stained.

DEFENDER'S RAP

  • My brain is listening to the universe
  • Telling me that every rhyme doesn't need a curse
  • Think like a bird and tell them haters off with your words
  • You don't need a dictionary, because your brain does the work
  •
  • My raps are extraordinary, dead people wake up from the cemetery
  • To hear my words addictive and sweet like some straw berries
  • When they listen to me, they look happy and merry
  • But my words never spoil like some sun-bathed dairy
  •
  • I wish people didn't have to rap, about them getting stacks
  • Or about women's rack, just about dreaming or being relaxed
  • Maybe one day this crap will go and never come back
  • So I can start nodding my head to stuff that's not whack
  •
  • Lately it's been hard to write, because I'm not always bright
  • I just need to see the light, to help me correct my songs until they're right
  • What goes on at night? Seeing blood spill over dumb fights,
  • Some people just don't mind, but the thought of bloodshed sends me in fright
  •
  • Well, I'm reaching the end of my notes, I hope
  • I can get some votes, that's probably a nope
  • Since I wrote half awake, and half stoked
  • I wish the best of luck to my foe, now I'll listen and see what you wrote

Cookin' something up, just wait a sec...
