DEFENDER'S RAP

• I thought it was loyalty over money?
• shout out to hollow,
• but it seems like money over loyalty is the mantra being followed,
• friends act like enemies and enemies act like friends,
• loyalty is bought until the benefits end,
• let me tell you a story about a uncle who I thought was heaven sent,
• but actually turned out to be the devil in pretence,
• he was born in the 50's and raised through the 60's,
• a time when having multiple meals through the day was a struggle,
• his dad had multiple jobs as well as a family to juggle,
• while his mum had countless sleepless nights nurturing him to be the man who she thought would always be her side,
• but when his mother became old all her hard work led to her demise,
• he was rich in his mother's love,
• but his love to be rich led to his loyalties being revised,
• he wanted to become greater,
• so he chased the paper,
• but like jack and the beanstalk,
• no matter how high he gets in the sky,
• he will always remain small in my eyes,
• he would die for his children and his wife,
• but would refuse to die for the one who gave him life,
• his bank account is rich,
• but his soul is poor,
• let me speak to you unc,
• when you die your money will not bail you out anymore,
• your deeds will bear witness to your actions in the Lord's court,
• so think about that the next time you decide to hurt people some more,
