CHALLENGER'S RAP

• Trying to escape reality and expand my personality
• Remove the veil and unravel this mystery
• What is truly inside of me, my anxious angry psyche
• The voices in my head just never stop talking
• Sitting alone in my room, writing and recording
• making songs that won't help me in my quest for glory
• My process stops progress from propelling me forward
• And my self-image stops me from letting me love who I am
• So I create an excuse because I'm scared
• of what might happen if my subconscious gets too powerful
• I'm enraged up on a stage performing for no one
• My only fan is my reflection in the mirror and I'm the only one
• who understands the struggle of an absence of meaning
• keeping myself believing in the illusion of a quiet evening
• This is the last line I want to keep
• til I do what I always do and drift back to sleep
