CHALLENGER'S RAP
- I studied the whole entire genre and art of Hip Hop
- Its roots started from the New York burrough, in South Bronx
- It wasn't just rapping, freestyling, and poems being spit
- Hip Hop always had dance, and it started from politics
- Lets take it back to 79, 38 years of the rap game
- Up to 89, the 80s, Hip Hop's very first decade
- The 80s kicked off by the Sugar Hill Gang, back then they were real hot
- Then came African Bambatta, as they came and made the Planet Rock
- Then Kurtis Blow put on a show, and then Grandmaster Flash gave us The Message
- To the rap game, and we all learned the lesson
- On and popping at his best, you had LL Cool J in the east
- Now we hip hopping to the west, when you had Ice-T
- And the rap game was runned by Run D.M.C., running Hip Hop
- They told us to Walk This Way, and they started Hip Rock
- Hip hop and Rock, hip hop was dominated by blacks back then still
- Then came a group of white boys, who were beast and really ill
- They needed a License to be ill, as they made a place into Hip Hop's residence
- The OG lyricist and G.O.A.T. MC,
- Rakim , along with Eric B, and were Paid in Full with Dead Presidents
- Then came the Public Enemy, Chuck D, who started political rap
- You can try and Fight their Power, but It Takes a Nation to Hold them Back
- Then Boogie Down Productions and KRS-1 came in the rap game stomping
- Some Negroes With Attitudes came in the rap game, coming Straight Out of Compton
- You had Dougie Fresh introduce beat boxing into the rap game
- Slick Rick had the best story telling, Kool Rap really had rap game
- then rap was ruled by Big Daddy Kane, Long Live the Kane
- The late 80s came, which was the start of Hip Hop's Golden Age
- Honarable mentions, femcees such as Roxxane and Mc Lyte kept rap going like a bullet
- Then Salt N Peppa shook up the rap game, as they continued to Push it
- Then Biz Markie and The Fresh Prince made the final Hip Hop Hits and,
- Hip Hop was still in its Golden Age, but thats how the first decade ended
