CHALLENGER'S RAP

• devistaiton can make people sad
• the people down the block had it worse than we had
• the hard times called for a swat team coming and collecting all the money we had
• the hard times had made momma sad
• i stood by her side and wish i could give her more than i had
• the hard times made the struggle more bad
• but the government aint worried bout what we had
• so im writting this so you could see what i did
• and hopefully ima buy my mom a new crib
• have a dinner and argue about who's the favorite son over some ribs
• thats how i would think, but sometimes i was scared to try
• sometimes i was terrified of how i was gonna turn out to be in this life
• see people would rather hear a lie than then the truth, cuz thats how people stay
• ima hear the truth and you culd judge me anyday
• im coming from the bottom and slowly making my way up
• mom would always yell at me cuz i never made my bed up
• i always used to say " is this the place people come in after they wake up"
• mom always got dressed and she never wore any type of makeup
• its a new day the past faded away its time for me to wake up
• i look in the mirror then i go to check out the news
• i see a man with a rolex but i never fanticized about diamods and rings
• i'd dream about buying 2 houses and having a good job
• i go to school and fail a test i did a bad job
• id be made fun of cuz i had holes in my shoes yeah holes in my shoe
• the rich kid in the class made jokes
• untill i passed by his house and seen him getting chocked by his dad
• its funny how people cover up their real self when they know they are sad
• they just wanna be around some people that will make them glad
