DEFENDER'S RAP

• okay punk, i'll tell you my life story,
• but i'll say it fast cause i think you're in a hurry.
• that's why you want me to tell it in eighteen lines,
• hiding your rap,as if i was a cat chasing you like a mice.
• since the day i was born i wanted to be different,
• confident, charismatic and independent.
• that's why i turned away
• from the monotonous course of life,
• that is to get a job at twenty
• and get married by twenty five.
• i dreamed of becoming the best rapper the world ever had,
• i never wanted to be a corporate attending meetings with an iPad.
• i ignored everyone and followed my dreams,
• that's why i have no reason to be sad.
• today i live the life that i love,
• that is writing rhymes which are both rough and tough,
• hoping one day i would rise to the top
• and be a legend and the king of hip-hop.
