• Write a poem about a loved one? This ain't a battle you fool.
• But whatever, I'll still obey the rules
• I mean, I love my momma. She gave me all the tools
• To get by in life, told me to go to school
• To go to college and get a job and have a happy life
• To have some kids for her to smother but not until I've got a wife
• To ignore very thing that goes on that may just cause me some strife
• But I told her I wanted to be a rapper, cut through her plans like my words were a knife
• But she was supportive, gave me some descents beats
• She never ever ever let me accept defeat
• She made sure that all my pads were filled up with fresh sheets
• And left a pen in every pair of my football cleats
• Yes I love my mother, even though she can be hard
• But my she is there more than my father, for him I shouldn't even start
