DEFENDER'S RAP

• Brother lookin' down from every direction, i heard the police reciting
• Went to another with my red complexion, knew i was a thief in hiding
• I arrived in a cave, really dark and gloomy
• The roads i saw no pave, only had spark and boozy
• The bed that stood before me was nothing but a rock
• My understanding led to not being good, the gods only knew how to mock
• An old woman came by, holding a duck in her left hand
• I was only a woodsman, carried nothing more than a buck, i think she had the blessed brand
• The next thirty seconds i didn't understand
• I guess you could say i was in debt, throwing the dollar underhand
• Was about to take a bite until my ears saw a bus
• My brain seemed ready to fight, but my peers told me to show no fuss
• Group of white boys came out, their pockets rich in cash
• All i heard was a few pouts, I think they were the Hollywood Bash
• They offered me a mill, just starin' at the old duck
• I claimed all these bills, with a little beginner's luck
