  • I had to escape The Hood
  • Had to hustle just to eat
  • Struggled just to get feed
  • I was a Broke Boy with cheap clothes and I can picture it all
  • It's like My Life is drawn through the whole wall
  • I had to stay strong, it was tougher than building muscle
  • I think about it all still, I reminisce the struggle
  • Though I got better and escaped for the good
  • I still miss The Homies and what I learned inside The Hood
  • Wearing dirty ripped nikes and the house table was made of wood
  • I couldn't sleep at night and rats used to sleep inside my house
  • Playing basketball outside the house and with my niggas giving pound's
  • I was fighting in school and got myself in so much trouble
  • I was depressed and angry, bout' to blow up like a bubble
  • Showing off in school, just to smash all the chicks
  • They was fine gals too, but whatever I did
  • Fucked 4 of them, next of them was 6
  • But they was all whores, they just loved sucking dick
  • I've been upset throughout my life and it's no way I can help it
  • Humping on my bed and moaning through selkit's
  • I can't help shit, Life's a Bitch
  • I feel lost in time, but answer me
  • Is my mind playing tricks?

DEFENDER'S RAP

  • spit it off the dome, cause im spitting bout home,
  • spitting bout the zone that got me close to the microphone,
  • '99 was the year, and your boy was the blessing,
  • little did he know he was born into depression,
  • and excessive tension within his living section,
  • that would fuel his need for theraputic sessions,
  • tried to stone, but my momma never condoned,
  • switched the roll for a pen, to tell stories of my own,
  • to give hope to the bros that are trynna cope,
  • but its hella redundant, how hella repugnant,
  • i find the niggas who dream to be stagnant,
  • by '06 , daddy was too sick,
  • the cancer was too deep, so those nights that i couldnt sleep,
  • inadvertedly turned to chasing cheap thrills,
  • but i couldnt see a (sia) glimpse,of the happinnes i seeked,
  • and hoped to receive, but 11/11 in '07,
  • poppa finally said his peace and went to heaven,
  • leaving my and my 2 brethren,
  • to make our house a home, to show daddy that we was grown,
  • youngest brother of 3, but still strong as a jeep,
  • still standing up tall, when in the face of defeat,
  • cause poppa gives me a strength which you could never defeat

Cookin' something up, just wait a sec...
