DEFENDER'S RAP

• Yo, if NASA decided to build a car and announce its registration in NASCAR
• They'd guide it to victory without an ounce of hesitation, maybe call it the massa-car
• Bet they'd tie it to a rope so that in a bounce of elation it didn't fly off like Santa Claus
• Hide it till the end, then let it pounce off the station and zoom by like an albatross
• Soon enough it would count out everybody and be racing a phantom of
• it's past self, just like in Mario Kart, it'd be standing off
• Against its own self, because the only person you gotta be better than is your self
• Inspiring everyone, NASA would be breeding astronauts like it was wholesale
• Sending them to the cosmos in non-depleting mega pods, running with full sails
• Attempting to toss those willing, into space wars, hunting each other's tales
• Like the movie Death Race, but with more torque and without the jail.
