CHALLENGER'S RAP
- Can't say I was born and raised anywhere
- Cuz I been moving place to place every couple years
- Got plenty of fears, I don't know why
- I guess that's why I'm here
- Cuz hip hop aint one of them, I'm able to steer
- From one bar to another, from here to there
- If there's a throne for the taking I hope I'm the heir
- This feels like a documentary in the making
- Cue an entire century of getting the ground shaking
- Underneath my feet, every moment, asleep or waking
- Spontaneous in theory but it feels very painstaking
- Been practising, hot bars got dawn breaking
- Fueling the sun and all of Earth's creations
- Bringing feelings of elation and the planet's rotation
- Spent several nights dreaming of rogue nations
- Began meditating to soak patience
- From all that is around me
- Hoping someday positivity is all that surrounds me
- Convert all those demons that hound me
- Have people be feeling glad that they found me
- Have myself be feeling glad that I found me
DEFENDER'S RAP
- My mom wouldn't have been at my birth if it wasn't a requirement
- but honestly I ain't bummed
- In and out homes every couple of months since I was eight
- only for a couple years would something I'd appreciate
- As for fears I've got a ton of them
- Anxiety and paranoia makes thinking constant mayhem
- Bitch I've been doing this for a week and I've already got better bars than you
- so if you beat me in this battle there's obviously an issue
- Life's fucking hard for everyone not just you
- I grew up with parents who'd fly of the handle and beat me black and blue
- skinny 5'3" white girl, fighting back was never an option
- but the one thing I could control was the pills I'd be poppin'
- I'll give you some advice though
- find some better rhymes and straighten up your flow
