• My life was never my idea
• I had a pretty mom, ex-ballerina
• everyone expected perfection from me
• I was never like my younger sisters
• I fit in better with the sinners
• The bastard child of the marriage
• she probably only took me on so my dad wouldn't find another bitch
• feeling like an obligation most of the time, only 16 but I've waited a lifetime to get away
• at 12 I got a felony and for the second time ran away
• now a fuck up is all I am to them
• Dad's probably wishing he wore a condom
• until about 7 months ago I never knew I could be truly happy
• I met this guy who didn't care about the past, only what was best for me
• decided I can't let this one get away, so first time I pursued
• usually being chased, going after someone wasn't what I was used to
• he showed me what it was like to be teenager not an adult
• he told to expect more from people, and for once I was being loved
• twice I've tried to run from him
• but I love him too much its like Stockholm Syndrome
• Parents tried to stop us
• sent me 2 thousand miles away but it was useless
• we talked everyday, listening to his voicemail on replay
• now I can only talk to him on the weekends
• even if we break up he'll always be my best friend
• I know I'm being naïve, but I'm trying to wear my heart on my sleeve
• He wants to be there forever, which scares the hell out of me
• but I accept it, lets see where this goes, no more chasin' hoes
• We promised each other not to make our parents mistakes
• as we picture our house with a picket fence and gate
