• If only I knew im so confused
• Run from here to there and stop a thousand times between
• Countless ropes yanking me in directions I didn’t know existed
• Only if I, had The Lord on my team!
• So many ways to turn where do I lean?
• Cuz I don’t wanna stray but now its worse than that im drowning in a stream

• I know I need to stop but I don’t know how
• Im headed for the rocks about to be dashed to pieces
• So many things piling up this job my girl that thesis
• Im weighed down by my own iron fist
• This yoke is my own but still I cannot release it its just too heavy to lift
• Stress, stress, stress
• Another test, test, test
• So many exams I forgot to examine
• What I want my life to be so im doomed to live die and breed like a salmon
• Except I don’t have gills and I forgot to breathe
• God knows There’s plenty of fish in the sea
• So they can have the pearls this just aint for me
• Shut your clam, im done readin emails, my inbox can keep its spam
• This was never in the plan
• It might seem right to you but that don’t make it true
• -This is where I make my stand!
• Now at long last I know, the only way to satisfaction that lasts is in my savior’s hand

• Jesus, we need Him, He don’t need us
• Ive seen nough, of this world to know its empty
• My act is just too much for me to clean up
• So Im sending, it to Him
• Consenting, letting Him wash me of my sin
• Now when im venting, I can scream it out to Him
• Hell never love me less I don’t have to keep it in
• By the end of it all, I know ill see it through His lens
• But lets be honest
• None of this gon work if I don’t let Him in
• You don’t have to hide, He already knows every last one one of your dirty thoughts and evil deeds and He loves you anyway. There’s no sin too big and no issue too small to let go. lay down at His feet, and Trust Him To Fix! He’s not waiting to wipe you off the face of the earth or strike you with a lightning bolt- He’s waiting to take you in His arms and welcome you home. He’ll meet you right where you are, but you need to turn around and stop running the other way!
