DEFENDER'S RAP

• it burns beneath my skin, the flames look so thin, i go to take a look at myself,
• but all i see is sins floating through the air, im scared, so i close my eyes in
• disgust, but when i open them all i saw was dust, as it cleared up i started
• to tear up, as i looked around i saw that i was being cooked on a stick,
• these fucking demons are stick, as the cry's of mercy left my mouth,
• i started to have doubts, i shut my eyes and screamed out,
• IS THIS ALL JUST A DREAM?, as my eyes swung open i saw a woven rope
• in front of me, as i look ahead i saw that i was being lead, i tried to fight
• for my life, but then i realized i'd have to pay the ultimate price,
• as the darkness closes in,
• the frown on my face turns to a grin,
• as my body starts to burn my heart fills with sins,
• im tired, i know ima lost soul, its my fault i believed what i've been told,
• but its the part of me that feels this way, the part of me that told me it would be
• ok, the demon inside me who thinks he runs my life when im weak,
• here lets take a sneak peak,look at my arms and body,
• it proves that there are some battles that cant be won,
• i dont want to burn in hell over the way i think, no i want to go to heaven knowing
• i'll be ok and i wont sink, theres another part of me that keeps saying, dont give up
• just keep praying, i know its hard to fight when you think your alone, but hey
• your not alone i have your back even when your bones clasp,
