DEFENDER'S RAP

• Just another white ass rapper from a small town, But not too many know my background,
• As a kid, spent months living in a campground. First seven years of my life,
• I suffered through abuse. Ten years old I tied my first noose, sick of the issues,
• I was ready to die, every night I would cry, In and out of psych wards,
• never knew what to work towards. Didn't like people, my thoughts were lethal, my actions evil.
• Getting older, I turned to booze but it wasn't an excuse. Then it came time to choose.
• Did I want to keep doing everything illegal, or something peaceful?
• I got wrapped up in that gang life, hoping that it'd lead me to the afterlife.
• After I got sober, I started rapping. Music was changing, Asking: What the fuck is happening?
• Got told I could really write, up past midnight writing lyrics. Found a girl who was committed,
• Helped me through the realization that I was addicted; Helped me stay sober. Now I'm acting older,
• yet I'm still the crew's soldier. Family is where I found my closure.
• Sixteen years old, And I've got news for you. I went through the bad shit, and I stayed true.
• I'll never need a new crew, though it's never too soon to replace a loose screw, fuck maybe two.
