• my life is in the hood surrounded by dealers,
• payin kids like me to steal expensive speakers,
• if i can make throught the night, ill be alright,
• until the next night, when all the street lights are insight,
• im realistic, i know ill never make it outa here,
• when i leave home i walk in fear, even on my way to school,
• you cant be a fool, in my hood that shit will get your ass popped,
• youll be watchin from the sky as the guy who dropped you in a ditch, walks away,
• if i make it to school alive, its still hard to survive,
• preps come at me with scornful words, harmful, embarrassment,
• gangstas come at my life with weapons larger than a pocket knife, harmful, harassment,
• if i make it home after school i run to my room to listen to marshal,
• he is my marvel hero, he taught me how to defend myself with only a bottle,
• i never show sorrow, why cuz tomorrow, ill be in the alley dead,
• i seen two hundred and eighteen deaths since i moved here, does that explain why im in fear,
