DEFENDER'S RAP

• I'm kind of feeling like the real thriller from Manilla
• Killed the gorilla, he grew slack on my back
• These whack tracks are smacked
• Pleased this release will only increase a need to seek true poetry
• Not just bitching about police like soulless sheep
• Pen in hand, pen to pad
• I wanted what I never had
• No regrets or better yets
• Worst case I'll take the hits from behind a new mixing desk
• Trying to breach the mainframe
• Beat them at their own game, reach the space age
• While they're still struggling getting tyres changed
• I might have seemed moody?
• Had all this pent up shit running right through me
• But I learnt to forgive, how to turn the page, crossed the bridge
• Its not manifesting I'm just consciously testing
• Impressions, never dismissive
• Pressing them for later yet you're off quicker than when your Mrs made you wake up with a rager
• Bad behaviour
• No phones in the zone, this homegrown's got me bopping
• Cozy like Egyptian cotton
• Still frothing cause these beats seem never stopping
• A lucky lot we might be not
• But if what was in that pot
• Was the gold to grow old
• The role of your souls mould unfolds
• On your toes quicker than I've ever seen before
• Could you settle the score like your ridgey-didge?
• I'll never promise ham and pull spam out fridge
• You could use a see through transparent way of laying
• So you hear say it not spray it, not copping
• Isn't it amazing that put an algebra equation
• No worries they got this, jjust watch this
• These kids are smart enough to know that when you put your heart on show you'll only end up paving yourself a harder road
