CHALLENGER'S RAP
- I grew up fast, world was small, I felt confined
- Now Im on top and they losin they mind
- Hatin on me cause I been on my grind
- Since when was havin dreams a crime?
- I came to leave behind my legacy and put this mans mind on mankind
- They say I was designed to be a product of environment
- Despite all of this, I rose outta bottomless pit
- Now I dismiss all the pain from the hits
- Forget the glamour and glitz, Lets face it I never been the average kid
- But most of the time Im out my wits
- Never backin down, Never call it quits
- Sometimes i wonder what kind of person i'd be
- If me and those close in my circle didnt meet
- Cause if character's determined by the company you keep
- Then if we didn't cross paths would i still be me?
- Or what if i was born of a different ethnicity
- Or had a new set of beliefs, what would the difference be?
- Would it alter the course of my history?
- Or would it remain as it is, I will never know
- But then again i don't want to
- I am who i am because of what i've gone through
- I've made a lot of mistakes, just like we all do
- What would life be without an obstacle to stall you?
- To make you stop and think about it, learn a lesson
- Cause you can't truly appreciate the happiness without depression
- That's why i feel blessed for every time i take a breath in
- Cause any moment this could all be over in a second
DEFENDER'S RAP
- I've gotta do it, we start with verse one
- and I ain't stopping the beat till this curse is done
- Rehearse one, nights that are done when I come I know you'll be done
- I don't have experience, only 13, but to realize where my mind is where these words come from
