CHALLENGER'S RAP

• My name is anonymous,
• To you I'm mysterious,
• I can be a lot of things,
• Sometimes even vivacious.
•  
• I used to lead a simpler life,
• Then life stabbed me, with a sharp knife,
• Things started North, they traveled South,
• Because I was faced with a terrible strife.
•  
• Pain and misery,
• To believe, they lead me,
• But I was unable to foresee,
• My future, at the time, was blurry.
•  
• I lived in the moment, this time not positively,
• Gone were the things for which I cared, dearly,
• No more time, but it's just a theory,
• Trying to survive in a season that's dreary.
•  
• I've traveled to a new low,
• Every second running slow,
• I guess it's time to overthrow,
• My emotions, I'll jump this rainbow.
•  
• But rainbows don't have black or white,
• In one, you don't see pain or fright,
• You can just see a nice bright light,
• Until it's eaten by the night.
•  
• No more light, it's all dead now.
• Lost in thought while I wipe my brow.
• I have failed to maintain my vow,
• I've hit a new low, to get out I need to know how.
