People try rapping, but people say they cappin
No white girl can rap, nah your just crap.
You don’t see those bruises under the sleeves, or my own god damn brain pushing me to my knees.
Now the blacks they come here to rap, when they are out of their minds
When they feel like they have got nowhere to hide.
But it’s clear to see, they ain’t like me. Our back stories don’t relate, you see they might be the same, but not really.
They say that girl is depressed, but not like the rest. God damn it, why they so good at hiding it?
We grew up like this, our future is failing. Our cars are de railing. But you can’t see it can you?
People are closing their eyes, saying their goodbyes.
And yet here we are suffering, I swear to you I ain’t bluffing.
But trust me when I say, the kids these days. May or may not make it.
It’s up to you to take it. Whether you see it or not, whether you understand or are confused. You got to take that leap. Get out there, lose yourself. Before we lose our world, children and hope
