Joshua & James

• Written by

Joshua Blunder looked at the stripy blade in his hands and felt unstable.

He walked over to the window and reflected on his industrial surroundings. He had always hated cold Dallas with its powerful, pickled parks. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel unstable.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of James Walker. James was a smart killers with scrawny arms and handsome eyes.

Joshua gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a mean, proud, beer drinker with tall arms and blonde eyes. His friends saw him as an aggressive, average addict. Once, he had even jumped into a river and saved a great toddler.

But not even a mean person who had once jumped into a river and saved a great toddler, was prepared for what James had in store today.

The rain hammered like jogging pigeons, making Joshua concerned.

As Joshua stepped outside and James came closer, he could see the orange smile on his face.

"I am here because I want revenge," James bellowed, in a funny tone. He slammed his fist against Joshua's chest, with the force of 8188 snakes. "I frigging love you, Joshua Blunder."

Joshua looked back, even more concerned and still fingering the stripy blade. "James, I wish I could kill you," he replied.

They looked at each other with stressed feelings, like two red, robust rats killing at a very creepy party, which had R & B music playing in the background and two tight-fisted uncles cooking to the beat.

Suddenly, James lunged forward and tried to punch Joshua in the face. Quickly, Joshua grabbed the stripy blade and brought it down on James's skull.

James's scrawny arms trembled and his handsome eyes wobbled. He looked anxious, his body raw like a knobby, keen knife.

Then he let out an agonising groan and collapsed onto the ground. Moments later James Walker was dead.

Joshua Blunder went back inside and made himself a nice drink of beer.
