Magnum Opus

• Written by

The woes of a protagonist in city streets,
grey structures exclusively packing philistines.
Just because I'm not a rapper queuing to announce
how I've got this active plan to turn this Q into an ounce.
They're so pretentious - diarrhoea from their two lips,
is it cos they lick it off or spit it to get views quick?
And you can get to stepping if the shoe fits -
spitting black culture while obsessing over new whips.
I stand composed as they stand before us so braggadocious;
Instagram'ing attractive poses while having doses.
Kissing death with your halitosis, I cannot support it;
Orwell to mass hypnosis composing this magnum opus.
Cold as the homeless sleeping in snow;
an elite with the flow, incapable of reaching a plateau.
And the deeper I go I seem to be receiving support,
but there's still some people that want me to not be breathing at all.

So I don't care they're undermining my ability,
pandering to mankind's paradigm of masculinity.
Went through Madness in order to find the trinity,
it Just B the Reali-T; writing history.
Don't care they're undermining my ability,
pandering to mankind's paradigm of masculinity.
Went through Madness in order to find the trinity,
it Just B the Reali-T; writing history.

Selling the vision of self-sufficiency,
while they're selling division; I sense the misery.
And if you died today would you be left with any dignity?
Read my words to see I never said it cryptically.
Tryna under-promise but over-deliver,
always come with something honest to show that I differ.
While they're struggling with politics over a river
I just wanna build a bridge of culture to part with the bitter.
Examine screens of the TV to re-enact the scenes
as plasticine gangsters roll in hoods just like Assassin's Creed.
We see the casualities and act like it's a tragedy,
then plant the seeds in our seed to pass on the brutalities.
But I'm just a Pac in a Suge's body,
I should probably stop rapping and pack-in this dumb hobby.
It's like being back at school; all the answers you took from me,
but the knowledge I possess is just something you couldn't copy.

I don't care they're undermining our ability,
pandering to mankind's paradigm of masculinity.
Went through Madness in order to find the trinity,
it Just B the Reali-T; writing history.
Don't care they're undermining our ability,
they're pandering to mankind's paradigm of masculinity.
Went through Madness in order to find the trinity,
it Just B the Reali-T; writing history.
